Ajax vs Juventus Pronostico

April 9, 2019

Looking at Ajax vs Juventus Pronostico, Ajax will host Juventus at Johan Cruyff Arena in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Ajax reached its first quarter-final since 2002/03 with defending champions Real Madrid as a result. Ajax got rid of Los Blancos 5-3 on aggregate. Losing 1-2 in Amsterdam in the first leg, Ajax escaped after spectacularly winning 4-1 through goals from Judge Ziyech, David Neres, Dusan Tadic and Lasse Schone at the Santiago Bernabeu in the second leg.

Meanwhile, Juventus arrived here after overtaking Atletico Madrid 3-2 on aggregate. Juventus lost 0-2 at Madrid in the first leg, but were able to respond with a 3-0 win through Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick in Turin in the second leg.

Ronaldo hasn't played for Juventus once since the Atletico counter-match due to an injury he sustained while defending Portugal at the international break. But coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Ronaldo will be fit to fight Ajax.

This might not be good news for Ajax. Because, Ronaldo has scored seven goals in five appearances against them. He recorded the statistics with Real Madrid, when he met in the group stages of the 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons.

With Ronaldo, Juventus always have the chance to win. But Juventus cannot underestimate Ajax. They must remember that Ajax had eliminated Madrid in the previous round.

Juventus defense need to be wary of Ajax attackers. Allowing them to move freely will bring danger.

Neres scored six goals in his last seven appearances for Ajax. Meanwhile, Tadic scored 17 goals in his last 21 appearances in all competitions.

Ajax has quality ammunition. Optimism is a natural thing. It's just that they have a less than pleasant history against La Vecchia Signora .

Juventus are unbeaten in the last nine meetings against Ajax. Juventus also won five of its last six matches against Ajax. This trend, combined with the existence of a distinguishing figure like Ronaldo, makes Juventus a little more favored.
